For those of you not familiar with Houston, TX, Houston has a very big rodeo every year that is packed full of Texas traditions. It is basically a big state fair with a rodeo and lots of concerts. The first big day is kicked off by celebrating Go Texan Day and the annual BBQ Cook-off. All of the businesses and schools participate by encouraging everyone to dress in their best cowboy/cowgirl gear. This year, The Woodlands had a Go Texan celebration at Market Street that we went to. Hudson enjoyed the band and the sausage on a stick!
