Jason's 34th Birthday

Jason's birthday was Jan. 23rd and turned 34!! Wow...hard to believe! He made a comment that you know you are getting old when you no longer have a candle representing evey year on your cake anymore. : ) He's still a handsome young man!
Hudson got to help blow out the candles:

The next day we had some friends over for a BBQ to help celebrate. The weekend before, Hudson and I went to his friend's 2nd birthday party. While we were there I got to know a lot of the parents of his friends from school. We invited one of the couples over to our BBQ so Hudson had a blast playing with Isabella and Reid.

Final Christmas pictures

This is finally the last of my Christmas postings! Soon I will be able to start posting current things. : )

This is a picture of our tree after Santa visited. Hudson was REALLY excited about the table and sat down to color on it right away. Santa left him a note!

Here is the Slinky Dog Hudson got from Uncle Rob & family:

Here he is helping Papa open his present:

Daddy was very sick to his stomach but he did his best to participate in the gift opening.

Here is Hudson opening his bouncy ball and Gator Golf presents from The Black family:

Christmas fun

Yes, I am still posting pictures from Christmas. Bear with me because there will be more to come! I still have to go through the present opening pictures. Here are some random pictures throughout the weeks surrounding Christmas.

Here is Hudson helping Daddy hang the stockings and putting the final touches on our mantel. As you can see from Jason's tool belt, he has been in the middle of a "project"...as always! : ) This time he was putting French doors on Hudson's play room. (much thanks to my Dad for helping!!) In the last pictures of this post, it looks like our house is one of those houses that is completely cluttered with toys. For those of you who know Jason well, that would never be the case! There are just toys everywhere because of the construction to the playroom. I'll post "after" pictures...eventually! ; )

Hudson got to help make Christmas cookies for the first time! He got this table for Christmas so like everything else this season, we were a little late baking our cookies! It was still fun though!

Here is my mom teaching him how to flatten out the dough and use the cookie cutters to cut out cookies. Since we were late making our cookies, we used all of our cookie cutters & had cookies for all of the holidays. That's why you see Halloween cookie cutters on the table! Why be traditional?!?!

Here is the chef himself!

You have to have sprinkles! mmmmmm!Hudson's first taste of a Christmas cookie...well, the frosting anyway! He was a BIG fan!
I thought this was a super cute moment! Hudson found this Snowman amongst my tubs of Christmas decorations and they bonded right away! They decided to take a plane ride to the north pole! I was so glad I had my camera nearby to catch this...my new favorite hobby is watching Hudson pretend! It's the best entertainment ever!!!

Is this cute or what?!?!?
I know this is a super random picture but I had to share it with all of you. This is my husband's method of heating up leftovers for dinner....what a boy!

Thank you for my presents!

Thank you Uncle Bernd & Aunt Emily!!!! Hudson was so excited when we came home and he noticed a package on our porch. He ran to it as fast as he could saying, "presents, presents!". He learns fast! He had to carry it inside all by himself and couldn't wait to open it.

He got some really cool books (he loves books!) and some super cool cars (he loves cars) so this was a really fun present to open!

The cars have the coolest velvety texture and they are smooshy...perfect for little toddler hands. And they are from Germany so that makes them extra cool! Thanks SO much!! We love you guys!

Santa picture

I'm so far behind on my blogging that I'm just now posting Hudson's picture with Santa...but it was worth the wait wasn't it?!?!?! Isn't it AWESOME!!! hehehe!!! He actually loves Santa but Santa came to his school before we had a chance to start teaching him about Santa. All he knew was that someone put him on some strange man's lap and took his picture. His face says it all!
