Ravioli Time!

Hudson doesn't really like many typical kid foods...except, RAVIOLIS!! He doesn't usually like to be very messy when he eats...except when eating raviolis. I think they have something for toddlers that is equal to cat nip in them.

Memorial Weekend

Shawna & Jeff invited us over to their house to go swimming and hang out. Hudson had a great time cruising the rapids in his new car!

He has no fear and LOVES to jump into the water!

X-treme jumping: Here he is practicing for the Olympic High Dive team.

The Artist

Our budding artist! Hudson spent at least an hour playing with his markers the other night. He colored, took the lids on and off, rolled them around and tucked them in tiny spots. Jason told me to go buy a hundred more!

He makes perfect scribbles! Good choice of color I would say. Any bidders on this Master Piece?!?!?

I have been working on painting a growth scale on Hudson's wall and he wanted to help so I gave him a paint brush. He painted an entire jungle...he's brilliant!
He is also good at saving money already! Cha-ching!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Moms & Moms-to-Be out there!! I hope you were all treated extra special and were all recognized for all of the love and care you share everyday. : )

I got to spend Mommy's Day with my Mommy for the first time in a very long time! We started the day off with some banana nut pancakes made by me, cooked by Jason. Then we were off to the park to have fun playing with Hudson. After the park we took my mom to the Houston Garden Center for some plant/flower shopping. Then my Dad treated us to an awesome lunch at Texas Land & Cattle. Then we went home and relaxed by the froggy poolside, watched some movies, and of course finshed up with some DHW (Desperate Housewives).

Hudson sang a song for us on the way home:

Saturday: out on the town

Today we took my parents downtown to the Art Car parade. I had never been so we didn't really know what to expect. There were a lot of people and parking was scarce. Jason finally found a spot that was so borderline illegal that he tried to bend back the pole of the "No Parking ->" sign. This was so that he looked a little more legal and he could worry a little less about being towed away (the sign was already at a sharp angle so he was just helping out the city by correcting their sign). We had previously tired several attempts to bribe parking lot/business security gaurds but I guess no one was hard up for an extra $20. The parade was actually really cool and it was quite entertaining to see all of the crazy creations people could turn a car into. After the parade we decided to pray that our truck was still where we left it and head home to hang out and visit.

Yeah! Visitors!

My Mom and Dad came to visit today! Hudson got to stay home and spend the whole day with them on Friday. My mom has had a hard time coming up with a name other than "Grandma" so Hudson made her day by giving her the name "Gigi". I'm proud of him because I think it suits her perfectly! : ) My Dad is "Papa" and Hudson loves to say his name.

It was a day full of giggles. Hudson had an awesome time with his Papa & Gigi!

May Day!

aaggghhhhh!!! There's a ghost in our house!!! Oh wait, it's just Hudson....peek-a-boo!!

mmmmmmm! First time to eat corn on the cob! (Hudson's second!)

We were planning to spend the day jet skiing at the lake but our excitement was crushed when we couldn't keep it running. We had to improvise with a makeshift water park we made in our backyard.
