He had a strict process (his rules, not ours) that had to be followed...he had to be holding both my hand and Jason's hand (he loves to hold hands now...I love it, it melts my heart every time!) while we walked up to each house & I had to be carrying the bag. Then, we both had to let go, I had to give him his bag back, and he had to knock on the door all by himself. Once he received his candy, he wouldn't go to the next house until we were each holding hands and I had the candy bag.

Here is a picture of his loot:
Our neighbors are so sweet and some of them made Hudson his own special treat bag. Mrs. Dawn, from next door gave him some chips that he was eager to eat. Again, I'm a mean mom and he doesn't get to eat chips very often (only sometimes, so he does know what they are and he loves them) so they were an exciting treat for him. Here he is showing me his chip and saying, "chip, mama, chip!".
Waiting on pins and needles for more kids to come to our door...
Still eating his chips...
Digging into the candy bucket to give candy to the kids outside! He really loved this part!! hehehe, his spider legs crack me up! : )

Here he is calling out, "kids, candy, kkkkiiiiiddddddssss!!!!!". And soon, there were more kids! We had a good steady stream until he was so tired he just couldn't do it anymore and I had to put him to bed. He actually told me he was sleepy and asked for his bed...you know that's pretty tired when a 2yr. old asks to go to bed! It was a very Happy Halloween!

All of the kids got to make their own trick or treat bags. Hudson's had a vampire on it but I didn't get a good picture of it.

I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as me! I laugh every time I look at them...but then again, I'm his mother! : )

Hudson made lots of friends while we were there. One little girl's mom brought bread to feed the fish in the ponds. There were clearly posted signs around the exhibits stating not to feed the animals but they ignored them and tossed an entire bag of bread in the water. So the poor orangutans had to sit around watching the fish fill up their bellies. Here is a picture of one stretching his hand out as far as he could as he begged for a piece of bread. (I should have taken some time to play with this picture so you could see it better...I'll work on that!)

This is Gray's new baby sister, Isla. She was born the end of August so she is only 7 weeks old! She is such a good baby...she hardly made a peep the whole time she was here. Look at that smile!
Here are Kelley and baby Isla:

He loves playing with the little pumpkins. They get thrown around and rolled down the side walk so I'll be amazed if they make until Halloween! Oh well, at least they are being enjoyed!
Hudson just noticed Jason sticks his hands in his pockets sometimes so it made him discover his own pockets. Now, he'll just be standing around all GQ with one hand in his pocket or he'll play peek-a-boo with his fingers.
Here's an update on me:
Here he is eyeing the tractor or possibly thinking about stealing someone's wagon...
He thought the goat was pretty cool but really wanted to be in there with it.

and his first snowcone! He doesn't usually like cold things but since it was so hot he decided to give it a try!
